Dear Real Estate Agent:
Most real estate agents got into real estate for the freedom and flexibility that it offers.
Yet MOST real estate agents:
*Work nights and weekends
*Work with clients that don't value their time
*Have no retirement plan
*And are always worried about where their next paycheck is going to come from.
I know this, because I myself was on the real estate roller coaster for years until I did my first investment deal.
Agents not only NEED to become investors, but they also have many of the basic skills necessary, including:
*Agents know how to comp and spot a good deal
*Agents come accross great deals - even when they aren't necessarily looking at them
*Agents have the industry contacts needed like: attorneys, contractors, lenders etc.
YET - most agents hardly invest in real estate.
Agent Investor was created to change that - and with over 5,000 members in our group, we seek to help every agent achieve financial freedom through real estate investing.
Since I started investing in real estate, I have personally:
*Fixed and flipped over 1,000 homes
*Own a 300+ unit rental property portfolio
*Am building over 250 new construction apartment units
*Have built a 350 person real estate brokerage
But most importantly, I now have the freedom to work when I want -which is exactly why we ALL got into real estate to begin with.
Bright eyed and busy tailed, I was ecstatic of just being able to get a job - and a high paying one at that.
I was over the moon - until I realized that the life I had created by working so hard in college, was NOTHING like what I pictured in my head.
I felt trapped going to work everyday - I felt completely unfufilled with the work I was doing - and by the time I got home every day, I barely had enough hours to prepare for the next day ahead.
Sure - I had weekends off(half of the time), but every Sunday I dreaded going to sleep and waking up to a life that I wasn't passionate about.
"There had to be a better way", I thought.
Soon after, I picked up a copy of the book "Rich Dad Poor Dad" by Robert Kiyosaki and it completely changed my mindset on how money worked - and my life trajectory.
Rather than focusing on making money at a job - I focused on buying assets that gave me positive cash flow.
While I had no money to start, I learned the ins and outs of creative financing, partnered up with some of the right people, and built equity and cash flow along the way.
I started out slow, but over time(and as I invested in my education and got more experience), my assets and my passive monthly cash flow grew larger and larger.
5 years into my journey, I had enough passive income to float all of my living expenses, quit my corporate job - and pursue my passion - which luckily for me happens to be real estate investing.
Since then, I've grown a real estate company that fixes and flips over 100 homes per year, a real estate brokerage that has over 300 agents all while growing my passive income portfolio year after year.
The key is that I stay busy because I like what I do - not because I have to. I now have 4 kids and as you can imagine - a very active home life.
While I am very busy with my business, I've never missed one dance recital, baseball game, school open house - or really anything that I've wanted to do.
I've never had to ask for a day off or wonder if I can pull off extending a vacation with my family.
And I've never had to live frugally - I own two beautiful homes, nice cars(including a sports car and am the proud owner of two mini vans).
I say all of this not to brag, but to express my enthusiastic results that I have acheived by investing in passive income real estate.
The best part is - there’s nothing special about me.
